Sound Bath at Buffalo + Sparrow Yoga Collective

The experience begins with each person lying down or seated in a comfortable position, often with a blanket and yoga props ( props provided, though bring anything that increases your comfortability ) . After a few minutes of guided focus on the breath, the body and the mind , the remainder of the experience is filled with different sounds being introduced in succession. The sounds are created by a variety of soothing and textural instruments including crystal singing bowls, bells, rattles and chimes.

Called a sound Bath as the sounds tend to build, and envelope you in both body and mind. The soothing waves wash away the tensions of the past and future, to bring you fully into the presence of your own inner peace. To some a dreamlike awareness, the goal of the experience is to invite deep rest and relaxation. This restful time allows for inner exploration of self-inquiry and self-discovery.
